Background: Brad founded Zip Express in 1978 under the original name of Modern Mail Service, at the age of 20. The company was originally setup to provide companies in Louisville with earlier delivery of their post office mail. Over the years the company grew and expanded the services offered. In 1984, the current name Zip Express was adopted and in 1986 the company under took a software development project, which eventually spun off a sister company, Express Software, which specializes in PC networks and digital communications. Today Zip Express is one of the most advanced local courier companies in the nation, with operations in Louisville, Lexington, and Elizabethtown Kentucky, and Evansville Indiana. Brad has also assisted in the launching of other businesses, Golden State Overnight (GSO), Outsource Management Group (OMG), and Ryan Young Products (RYP). GSO is an overnight courier service throughout California, OMG specializes in facility management for corporations in Louisville and Lexington Kentucky, Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio. RYP is an importer of motorcycles and accessories with 400 dealers nationwide.
