MCAA Grassroots Program
In response to increased activity at the federal level MCAA launched a congressional grassroots program to educate legislators and decision makers. MCAA is asking that you meet with your Congressman or his/her staff at their District Offices or to attend our annual Lobby Day. Such meetings have proven to highly effective as most Members of Congress have little or no knowledge of our industry and the critical services we provide until we meet with them. These first meetings should be viewed as an opportunity to get to know one another so a strong relationship can be developed.
The purpose of these meetings will be to introduce your business and the industry along with its impact on the local economy to your elected representatives. This will set the groundwork for future meetings when crucial legislation is on the line. The MCAA has created a spreadsheet listing all regular member companies and breaking out their individual Representatives and Senators.
