Policies
- A maximum of 2 children under 18 years of age sharing a room with parents stay free when using existing bedding.
- Rollaway beds and cribs are available from housekeeping. Rollaway beds are an additional $25 per night based on availability.
- All departures prior to date agreed at time of check-in will be subject to a $100 early departure charge.
- Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at time of reservation. A deposit equal to one night room and tax may be used in lieu of a credit card guarantee but must be received by the hotel at least 14 days prior to arrival. Reservations awaiting a deposit must still have a credit card on file to guarantee.
- Cancellations must be made by 4pm local time 7 days prior to the date of arrival to avoid one night room and tax charges.
- In the event that a guest fails to check-in for a guaranteed reservation, a non-refundable charge of one night room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file and the balance of the reservation will be cancelled.
On-Site Dining
Jump-start your day with a gourmet coffee from the Vista Barista or breakfast in the Canyon Café in full view of the Catalina Mountains. Ready for lunch? Go poolside to Bill’s Grill for a burger. Need an afternoon lift? Enjoy Hummingbird Tea in the lobby. Dine either alfresco or by the fireplace at the Flying V Bar & Grill, whose extensive tequila selection and steaks are second to none. An aperitif at the Cascade Lounge is an ideal precursor to a spectacular dinner overlooking the distant city lights of Tucson in the city’s only 5-Diamond restaurant, The Ventana Room. You’ll find that passion is the main ingredient at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort.
Transportation
Taxi Service – Approximately $55 one-way from the Tucson Airport to the hotel.
Group Shuttle Service – Arizona Stage Coach – No reservation required
- Located next to baggage claim
- $45 per person one-way; $80 per person round-trip
- Please note that this service stops at other hotels on the way to the Loews, so your trip can range from 40 minutes to over an hour, depending upon the number of people in your van.
Town Car Service – Through the Loews Hotel – Reservation required
- Call 520 299.2020 and ask for the Bell stand
- $55 one way, but can fit more than one person in the car
- Charges can be posted to your room at the hotel if you prefer
Driving Directions
From Tucson International Airport to Loews Ventana Canyon Resort
- Depart Airport heading North on Tucson Boulevard
- Turn Right on Valencia Road and travel 2 miles
- Turn Left on Alvernon Way heading North
- Alvernon will feed into Golf Links Road East
- Follow Golf Links to Swan Road and turn Left
- Travel North about 8 miles to Sunrise Drive
- Turn Right on Sunrise to Kolb Road
- Turn Left on Kolb Road and travel 1.5 miles
- Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is on the Right
- Turn Right on Estes Way
- Driving time is approximately 35 minutes
Directions from Phoenix International Airport
- Follow signs to Interstate 10 going East
- Exit I-10 on Ina Road, turn left and head East
- After several miles the road changes into Skyline Drive and then to Sunrise Drive
- Continue past Swan and Craycroft Roads
- Turn left at Kolb Road and continue 1.5 miles
- Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is on the right
- Turn Right on Estes Way
- Driving time from I-10 is about 25 minutes
From Phoenix Metro Area to Loews Ventana Canyon Resort
- Take I-10 East towards Tucson
- Take Ina Road Exit (Exit 248)
- Turn left on West Ina Road (Eastbound)
- Proceed along Ina Road
- After approximately 7 miles, Ina becomes Skyline Road
- Stay on the main road which becomes Sunrise Road after approximately 2 miles
- Continue approximately 4 miles to Kolb Road
- Turn left on Kolb Road
- Turn right on Resort Drive, marked by a large boulder on the right
- Distance between Phoenix and Tucson is approximately 95 miles or 2 hours
